Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master, you are responsible for two teams within our product development department. You understand the dynamics of your team(s); you anticipate needs and maintain focus, ensuring that the agreed-upon sprint goals are achieved. You work closely with both the Product Owner and the Development Team in the most efficient way possible to create impact for the business. You are the go-to person within the team(s) and ensure clear communication and proper implementation of the Agile Way of Working.

After the Sprint starts, you support the team in achieving their Sprint goals, facilitating the Scrum events. Thanks to your coaching and feedback, the team grows stronger and more self-organizing.

To succeed in this role, you need to combine an understanding of the software development process with organizational skills, maintaining a keen and critical view when it comes to Agile processes. You can decisively defend your reasoning to both the Product Owner and the Development Team. Additionally, you assist in team-transcending meetings, roadmap sessions, stakeholder meetings, and are involved in counseling other Scrum Masters within Betty Blocks.

Who Are You?

• You remove impediments and ensure that nothing stands in the way of the team achieving their goals.
• You guide the team towards working efficiently and optimize their performance.
• You motivate others to articulate their goals and ensure they achieve them.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master (a PSM certificate is a plus).
• You are result-driven and possess excellent planning and organizational skills.
• You have a strong affinity with IT and software.
