Senior CRM Performance Analyst

Introduction to the Team

Expedia Group is seeking a talented individual to help run the performance, operations and reporting of CRM. You will have experience with Tableau, Querybook, SQL, data investigations, project management, CRM, and working with cross-functional teams. This position will work directly with marketing teams spanning Expedia's entire brand portfolio, including 20+ brands across 10 geographies around the world. Additionally, the role will work with our database, product, and development teams to support marketing efforts.

In this role, you will:

  • Measure, report and communicate the performance of the email and push channels and the CRM database
  • Create and manage reports to help marketing managers can self serve and we can monitor our database and campaigns quickly and effectively
  • Dig into data anomalies that can come up via different campaign results or database changes
  • Understand and add insights into the performance of the different results, measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns including engagement and conversion metrics and how they impact the channel
  • Find opportunities that the team can go after in order to improve the email and push channel's and make a difference to the bottom line
  • Utilize email reporting tools to train marketing teams as well as identify trends and opportunities
  • Extract data using SQL for marketing lists, campaign validation, and reporting
  • Serve as a liaison with technology teams to ensure current projects and priorities are aligned with marketing initiatives
  • Focus on analyzing hyper-localized global campaigns
  • Work with and present to a variety of stakeholders across marketing, finance, analytics and data teams

Experience and Qualifications

  • Considerable SQL knowledge required
  • Vast knowledge of tableau and other analytics tools required
  • Knowledge of Qubole, AWS and other cloud storage technology is required
  • Marketing/CRM experience preferred
  • Experience in an analyst role
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and find creative solutions when faced with limitations
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity working with and basic understanding of databases, particularly using a database for marketing communications
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Capable of successfully collaborating across teams and geographies
  • Flexibility and initiative as role and responsibilities evolve and change
  • Desire to grow in responsibility and expand knowledge base
  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

Compensation: The total cash range for this position in Austin is $82,500 to $115,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
