Your Job

As a Tactical Buyer, you will be responsible for the procurement of indirect products and services. These are products and services not directly related to product sales but related to categories such as IT, HR, and marketing. You will work closely with various stakeholders within Decathlon to close the best purchasing deals, create and implement purchasing strategies, and monitor purchasing costs.

In this role, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world by helping reduce procurement costs, which allows us to make our products and services more affordable for everyone. You will also work to make our purchasing more sustainable, positively impacting the environment. You will collaborate closely with the purchases team in The Netherlands and the global team in France, and report to the Regional Indirect Purchases Manager.

What We Expect From You

As a Tactical Buyer at Decathlon, you can expect a challenging and versatile position within a growing company. You see opportunities, work proactively to prevent problems, and find the best purchasing solutions together with our colleagues. Additionally, you have:

• A completed HBO education, complemented by at least 3-5 years of experience in a procurement function.
• NEVI-1 certification (or similar purchase course).
• A good command of Dutch (Mandatory) and English languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and you are flexible and stress-resistant.
• The ability to work in a digital environment and independently.
