Market Risk Analyst

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily reporting and analysis of worldwide volumetric risk positions against position limits.
  • Developing and improving systems and processes.
  • Performing structural and ad hoc analysis of market risks for specific trading portfolios.
  • Supporting the monthly control and accounting duties by verifying market prices used to value open position mark-to-market daily and at month end.
  • Developing and implementing ideas for recurring process or reporting/analysis improvements.
  • Supporting internal risk, commercial, and management stakeholders through insights and analysis.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • You have great attention to detail, in combination with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and have a strong professional mindset.
  • You are naturally curious and have an interest in risk management, financial markets, commodity trading and processing, international geopolitical developments, and its impact on world trade.
  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in one of the following areas or similar: Business Administration, Finance, Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • You have knowledge in programming, business intelligence software, financial modeling, and derivatives; commodity industry knowledge is a plus.
  • You are fluent in English (spoken and written), additional languages are welcome.
  • Someone who is currently looking for the first step in their career, however, we will also consider applicants with 2-3 years’ experience in Risk, Trading, or any relevant fields.
