Department Opportunities

At DAF, there are various departments where you can intern in the Automotive field.

Product Development

More than 1100 engineers work within Product Development to optimize, develop, and test our current and future trucks, engines, and components. Specialists in automotive, mechanical engineering, electronics, safety, hydraulic systems, engines, aerodynamics, and materials science collaborate in the development of future trucks.

Operations

Production at DAF Trucks occurs in Eindhoven (NL) and Westerlo (BE). The engine factory, sheet metal component factory, and truck factory are in Eindhoven. Components produced in Eindhoven are used for axles and cabins in Westerlo.

Logistics Operations

DAF works on the ‘direct line feeding’ principle, where suppliers deliver directly to assembly lines. Logistics professionals ensure parts are delivered correctly and on time in the production process.

Marketing & Sales

More than just developing and producing excellent trucks, Marketing & Sales ensures promotion, sales, logistics, and after-sales support for a complete transport solution.
