CBRE Data Center Solutions is seeking an organized, creative, and proactive Business Unit Sales Coordinator for our Western Europe Business Unit. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in our business.

How do I become a Business Unit Sales Coordinator at CBRE Data Center Solutions?

As a Business Unit Sales Coordinator, you will support the sales process, prepare materials for client meetings, and manage the proposal process. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager (BDM), Business Unit Leader (BUL), and Bid Manager to create and submit winning proposals. Additionally, you will support the Business Unit Leader with administrative tasks.

About the team:

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will report directly to the Business Unit Director and collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager and Bid Manager.

Based at our Amsterdam HQ, you will be at the heart of our operations, playing a crucial role in driving growth and innovation. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with local and regional teams to identify new business opportunities, supporting bid processes, and contributing to the development of strategic initiatives that align with our corporate goals.

As a Business Unit Coordinator, you enjoy doing the following:

  • Creating information packages about potential clients by conducting desktop research and due diligence.
  • Preparing materials for client meetings and presentations.
  • Organizing and attending client and networking events.
  • Managing the Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including writing responses to proposal questions and coordinating deadlines.
  • Maintaining professional profiles, account profiles, and case studies.
  • Collaborating and networking with Business Unit sales Coordinators and Bid Managers within the company.
  • Staying updated on CBRE and industry knowledge, sharing insights with the team.
  • Providing administrative support, including preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and maintaining the Business Unit Leader’s diary.
  • Assisting with training arrangements and supporting contract teams as needed.
  • Liaising with subcontractors for quotes and ensuring high-quality final documents.

You recognize yourself in the following:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • You have excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • You are a team player with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues.
  • You have experience with Microsoft 360, especially Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SharePoint, InDesign, SmartSheet, and Salesforce is a bonus.
  • You are energetic, proactive, and able to prioritize.
