Job Purpose: To help the company hit its sales targets through supporting the Regional Sales Managers, Maintaining Distributor revenue, including account maintenance and development, and developing project-based targeted sales campaigns. Responsibilities: Be the primary point of contact for distributors; Prepare renewal pricing and new order quotes; Answer queries and work with the Support Team where needed on access or invoices; Prepare all direct order renewals and new order pricing as requested. Create quotes/proposals for customer signature; Work closely with the Pricing Team to manage the flow of open price requests, reduce the turnaround times on requests wherever possible; Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the relevant CRM systems (Orion/Salesforce); Provide any reports as requested on an ad hoc basis; Manage smaller direct account renewals as allocated by the Field Sales Reps; Keep Salesforce updated with all opportunities and activities, and report back to the Field Reps on a regular basis; Act as local conduit between regional marketing and the sales organisation including partnering on campaigns designed to deliver against pre-determined business objectives; Work closely with the Marketing team on all events, exhibitions, open days. Track the budget / current spend and report back; Coordinate any local language marketing resources, working with local agencies / translators as needed; Carry out market research and lead generation activities; Assist with upsell sales campaigns as agreed with sales team: send and follow up on campaign emails to customers. Makes presentations to new prospects and existing customers, both face-to-face and using telecoms; Participation in regional, national and international trade shows, conferences and other events, as agreed with Regional Director. Travel Required: Limited amount of customer visits (up to 15/year) as agreed with Regional Director; attendance at Global Sales Meeting. Experience: Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; Well experienced in using MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint; and in use of sales automation/CRM applications; Experience of telephone sales in B2B and/or public-sector markets; Excellent communication and presentation skills; Goal-oriented; Well organised; able to work and get results with little supervision; Extensive experienced in providing accurate and reliable sales projections.
