Then this job as NIBC's new Integration DevOps Engineer might be the position for you!

We are embarking on an exciting journey to modernize our technology landscape, transitioning 766 BizTalk interfaces to our Azure Cloud Integration platform. We are seeking a hands-on Integration Engineer to help set the pace in this transformation and shape the future of our digital infrastructure.

NIBC is looking for an Integration Engineer to join the Automation & Integration team. As our Integration DevOps engineer you will take end to end responsibility of improvements, innovations and lifecycle management of integrations. You will contribute to integration architecture and perform an advisory role on technologies and processes. You will be a key player in our transformation to a Cloud Integration Platform.

The integration specialist we are looking for:

  • Contributes to integration architecture
  • Provides support for integration solutions
  • Performs lifecycle management of the integration platform
  • An independent professional with experience with a high degree of ownership who likes to demonstrate results in the development of our integration solutions
  • Advises on integration trends, provide expert guidance, brings ideas forward

And is responsible for integration development:

  • Analyses requirements and produces technical designs
  • Develops and maintains integration solutions (designing, building, testing, documenting, UAT support) & ensures that development process is followed
  • Asking for help within the team to further refine when needed or to perform code reviews
  • Develop, Design, Test and Deploy integration components with API & Cloud first approach
  • Incident management as per the SLAs
  • Follow and improve development guidelines and standards
  • Applying security by design principles

Your team

As the Integration DevOps Engineer you will become part of the Automation & Integration team. We embrace the SAFe framework and work together with stakeholders across the bank to work on solutions that will benefit the efficiency of NIBC employees and its clients. The team has now 14 engineers, so that means two DevOps teams, eager to take automation & integration to the next level. The values of our team are transparency, teamwork and fun. What do you bring?

To be successful in this role you are a good communicator. You are proactive and people call you a real problem solver and a team player.  A continuous improvement mindset is a key factor.

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in relevant background (e.g. computer science)
  • Work Experience in Integration / software development
  • Experience in development of API’s using Azure API Management, Azure LogicApps Azure DevOps, GIT and Visual Studio
  • Skills/knowledge with: Keys/Certificates, CI/CD Pipelines, IaC: Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, stream Analytics, Event hub, Liquid mapping
  • Experience in working DevOps is preferred
  • Good C# and .NET development skills
  • Azure certifications are good to have. (AZ-900, AZ-204, etc.)
  • Experience in working in an Agile team
  • Fluent in English (our corporate language) and preferably Dutch, written & verbal.
