The Procurement department is the central purchasing and supplier management team of ABN AMRO, collaborating with the business to find the best possible solutions. This includes setting objectives, conducting market research, selecting suppliers, managing the tender process, negotiating, and organizing supplier management after purchases. 🌍

We proactively approach the organization with opportunities for structural improvements in purchasing, such as fully integrating sustainability into the procurement process. The Procurement team doesn't just save money through smart deals; we also serve stakeholders with market knowledge, establish partnerships, and facilitate the bank's strategy—all executed compliantly. 📈

Your Role

Procurement acts as a strategic partner for procurement and supplier issues. We are involved in partnerships between ABN AMRO and external organizations, and we are well-versed in market trends. 🤝

As part of the Procurement Category IT team, we seek an enthusiastic colleague with purchasing experience and a consultant profile. Affinity with IT is a plus. You will handle RFx processes that select partners to achieve our strategic objectives. Risk management and sustainability are significant components of our purchase processes, along with maintaining thorough documentation for each initiative.

Your Profile

You will have ample room and responsibility to define your work, in line with department and business priorities. As a natural connector, you engage proactively and commercially both within and outside ABN AMRO. 🏆

• Result-oriented, entrepreneurial, and capable of advancing Procurement

Educational and Experience Requirements: WO or HBO level; proven purchasing experience is a must, preferably in IT.

What We Offer

• Gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour workweek, including holiday pay and benefit budget.
• 11% benefit budget: if unused in a month, a twelfth of the budget is paid out.
• Five weeks of vacation annually, with the option to purchase four more weeks.
