What will you be doing?

The Spare Parts Coordinator (SPC) is a member of the Sales Solutions team. You will be the key contact for Project Execution and Service Implementation teams regarding spare parts orders. The SPC is responsible for managing the entire process from initiation, through support towards customer and internal sales departments, till the physical delivery of the package on site.

The SPC will contribute to the development of the Global Spare Parts business in collaboration with various stakeholders within the organization globally. You will oversee the entire process and take the initiative to make improvements.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily operation and assuring timely delivery of the quotations
  • Processing and following up Spare Parts Package quotations.
  • Developing the Spare Parts business;
  • Spotting and implementing improvement initiatives and process improvements;
  • Sparring partner for the internal organization and customers;
  • Drive for structural improvements, resulting in an increased customer experience and improved effectiveness or efficiency.

Your Profile

You represent as the central point of contact for internal and external customers, which requires excellent communication skills. Your proactive commercial attitude enables you to persuade a customer of the added value of the Spare Parts Package proposition. Your input will effectively determine which spare parts the customer purchases.

  • You have finished a Bachelor Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar field;
  • You have at least 2 years' experience in a B2B techno-commercial environment;
  • You take ownership and naturally manage your stakeholders
  • You are a motivator and act as a natural team player;
  • You are proactive and service-minded;
  • Proven record of process improvements;
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferred JD Edwards;
  • Good command of the English language.

About the Team

You will be part of the Global Spare Parts department within the Business Unit Supply. This department is globally responsible for marketing, procurement, sales, planning, and delivery of Vanderlande material handling Spare Parts. The department consists of two teams:

  • Logistics, responsible for the order management/support and order fulfillment process of Spare Parts. You will be positioned in this team.
  • Parts Marketing and Sales Solutions, responsible for product management, master data, E-com, and marketing and also for package order management/support.
