The IT Department is responsible for various aspects such as IT infrastructure, business systems, desk help, network construction, information security, and sales management systems.

About the Role

We are currently looking for an IT Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in the BYD Europe Office, Hoofddorp. The role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure of the BYD Europe business, providing and maintaining system support services and administration for the group's computer infrastructure, and various software and systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Respond to technical support calls from other staff members or clients and communicate how to resolve issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system and network problems, software faults, or hardware complications.
• Support the roll-out of new applications.
• Keep a record of issues, along with solutions, to refer back to in future instances.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
• Management of the IT inventory, including hardware items as well as software licenses and warranties.
• Cooperating with the HQ IT team to implement network security.
• Efficiently and effectively responding to requests for IT support and providing solutions by cooperating with the HQ IT team.
• Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization.
• Preparing computers/laptops and other IT equipment for employees and managing computers and other IT office equipment.
• Other related activities and contingent assignments.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3 years of IT support-related work experience.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Chinese speaking is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Independent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
