Planner Demand Planning

We are looking for an enthusiastic Demand Planner who loves to work in an international environment where you can combine your commercial mindset and analytical skills. In this role, you will be part of the Demand Planning team within the Europe Customer Supply Chain organization.

What We Ask

  • Bachelor degree with 4+ years or Master degree with 2+ years of relevant working experience (or equivalent)
  • Commercial mindset and customer focused
  • Broad understanding and experience in SAP / planning tooling
  • Knowledge of OMP would be an advantage
  • Analytical skill is mandatory
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken
  • Good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Pro-active, pragmatic and confident

Vacancy Description

  • Responsible for the demand planning process for the coming 18 months within BG Europe Supply Chain.
  • Creation of demand plans based on statistical forecast for operational and tactical horizon.
  • Safeguarding optimal planning process, fitting within S&OP process.
  • Translated impact of business dynamics into the demand plan: NPD, phase-in/out, promotions, events, seasonality, tenders, contracts, activations.
  • Manage KPI’s: Service Level, Forecast Accuracy / Forecast Bias and waste (obsoletes).
  • Stakeholder management with main stakeholders being sales, marketing, finance & supply planning.
  • Responsible for S&OP meeting preparations and reporting.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of demand planning process by analyses, improvement initiatives etc.
  • Handling the daily review and adjustments of SKU-based forecasts.
  • Maintaining data integrity of assigned SKU’s item definition.
