As a Systems Engineering Summer Intern, you could be working in a variety of roles across Dreadnought and SSNA (the replacement for the Astute class of submarine) programmes. You will have the opportunity to get involved at all stages of a submarine’s life cycle, helping to support a wide range of activities such as capturing system requirements and helping to design, test, and improve systems and subsystems on the submarine.
As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Maths, or other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths) degree.
