Graduate Shared Services Cyber Assurance

Location: Preston (Lancashire)

Start Date: 8th September 2025

What You Will Be Doing

The Enterprise IT Cyber Security team is responsible for delivering Cyber Security services across the Company in the UK and in some international markets. The Assurance team within this assesses cyber and threat risks both internally and externally, ensuring the necessary controls and processes in place are effective.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing Cyber security assurance to identify risk and determine appropriate mitigation requirements.
  • Analysis of secure solutions (covering technical/physical/procedural/personnel controls).
  • Assessment of compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.
  • Deliver documentation to demonstrate compliance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assessment and provision of control effectiveness in managing information security risk.

Skills

As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Cyber Security, or Computer Science degree.
