BAE Systems offers a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. However, it is expected that on our Graduate Programme, you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. As a Graduate, you will work at the heart of our business, ensuring complex and safety-critical products are safe and fit for purpose. Working at all stages of the product lifecycle, from identifying and evaluating hazards to developing robust controls and safety procedures. You’ll play a pivotal role in development, production, and testing, as well as helping us to develop comprehensive safety management systems for entire platforms.
You will be working in a team containing some of the country’s foremost experts in the field of Safety Engineering and working on one of the most complex and high-profile Safety Cases in the United Kingdom. As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Disciplines, Safety Engineering, Environmental, or Physics.

Upon commencement of employment, you will be paid a one-off non-consolidated lump sum payment of £2,000 (the “Welcome Payment”). The Welcome Payment is subject to normal deductions and will be paid with your first salary payment.
