Are you interested in how people interact with systems? Do you want to learn how to maximise their performance through understanding what information they need and how to design it? You will experience a wide range of activities linked to people’s physical and cognitive capabilities, gaining an understanding of how the end users (e.g., aircrew, maintainers, manufacturers) carry out their tasks under different conditions, and what information they need. You’ll help investigate which technologies are most beneficial through human in the loop assessments and learn to measure human performance using a variety of techniques.
As a Human Factors engineer, you’ll help ensure our products are safe, operable, accessible, and habitable for the effective human user.
As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either Human Factors, Ergonomics, Engineering Product Design or Psychology.

On commencement of employment, you will be paid a one-off non-consolidated lump sum payment of £2,000 (the “Welcome Payment”).
