What You Will Be Doing

During your Trials and Commissioning Graduate program, you will gain visibility across a range of disciplines. A personal development plan will be created for your learning and development needs associated with your role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development of strategies to ensure systems are successfully tested and commissioned to fully satisfy customer and business needs/requirements.
  • Capturing and analyzing requirements to understand customer/business needs and the system's usage context.
  • Conducting fault diagnoses into operational defects.
  • Developing defect rectification solutions.
  • Providing engineering advice and support to Operations, OEMs, and other functions.
  • Understanding emergent properties of a system to support trade-offs, optimization, risk reduction, and testing.
  • Supporting the identification of safety hazards and assessing and mitigating safety risks.
  • Conducting all activities professionally to deliver engineering tasks to agreed time, cost, and quality to meet project milestones.
Skills

As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

On commencement of employment, you will be paid a one-off, non-consolidated lump sum payment of £2,000 (the “Welcome Payment”).
