Our current offshore portfolio consists of 6 operational wind farms, with another (HKW Ecowende) under construction, expected to be completed in 2026. Eneco also boasts a substantial onshore wind portfolio in the Netherlands, Belgium, and the UK, consisting of over 100 wind farms. As we continue to develop new wind farms in Northwest Europe, we require dedicated professionals to ensure their safe and efficient operation.

Job Responsibilities

• Safe operation of the wind farms and contributing to a proactive safety culture.
• Continuous improvement of our security management systems in line with industry standards and best practices.
• Ensuring system custodians comply with our OT security requirements and processes.
• Documenting, assessing, and presenting management with deviations or exceptions.
• Defining security requirements for OT replacement projects as part of life cycle management.
• Contributing to the latest OT architecture for new assets based on lessons learned.
• Leading role in handling cyber security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.

Ideal Candidate

Eneco seeks security professionals with a hybrid skillset for our Renewable Power environment. Candidates should possess competencies in cyber security, engineering, and risk management. The ability to master new environments quickly, along with focus, attention to detail, execution power, and excellent communication skills, is essential.

1. Bachelor or Master degree in Information Security domain.
2. 3-5 years of experience with Operations Technology (OT).
3. Detailed knowledge of ISO27001 and ISA99/IEC 62443 standards.
4. Certified or ambitions to become certified in Critical Infrastructure Protection (GCIP), Information Security Professional (GISP), or Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP).
5. Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch, verbal and written.
6. Flexible approach to travel and working offshore.

About Eneco Wind Operations Offshore (EWOO)

We are a leading wind farm operator in Northwest Europe, creating synergies and growth opportunities. EWOO operates from the ports of IJmuiden (NL) and Ostend (B), with the OT security officer positioned within the EWOO team in IJmuiden. This role will also support operations departments responsible for onshore wind in the Netherlands, Belgium, and UK.
