Are you looking for a challenging and exciting role in international logistics? As a Pricing Analyst in the Cargo Pricing & Revenue Management department, you will be responsible for determining the prices for a wide range of cargo flows, including Fresh, Pharma, Valuables, E-commerce, and more. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the cargo revenue for the relevant market by analyzing rate type utilization, market dynamics, and customer segments. You will work closely with local sales markets around the world as part of a diverse team.

What will you do?

  • Develop pricing strategies in close cooperation with the respective markets
  • Continuously monitor performance for the respective markets and initiate improvements from a pricing perspective
  • Coordinate with Sales & Distribution colleagues for price settings in accordance with the competitive landscape and local market dynamics
  • Initiate and lead innovative pricing process enhancement projects
  • Evaluate and authorize pricing deals
  • Monitor and manage the effectiveness of tactical pricing
  • Ensure the distribution of the pricing
  • Coordinate with inventory management colleagues for aligning inventory and pricing strategies
  • Take actions on non-compliant price setting behavior in close cooperation with local markets
  • Liaise with Pricing Policy Management on worldwide pricing initiatives and the possible impact on the respective markets

Where do you land?

You will join the Pricing team in SPL, which is responsible for all the wide-body belly and full freighters of Air France, KLM, and Martinair to the regions of Asia, Central & South America, and East & South Africa. The team is multicultural and welcomes people from diverse backgrounds.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree or appropriate professional and intellectual ability
  • Knowledge of cargo processes and organization is preferred.
  • Data-driven profession with experience in decision support tooling and reporting tools, with a high analytical level
  • Experience in stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proficiency in English language (both spoken and written)
  • A good team player with a multicultural background
  • Eager to innovate and take initiatives
  • Commercial-oriented mindset
