  • Preparing design proposals and diagrams in accordance with contractual project requirements, quality requirements, safety requirements, specifications, standards, and norms;
  • Designing and drafting electrical diagrams and specifying components;
  • Designing cabinet layouts in 2D and/or 3D;
  • Performing cable calculations, short circuit calculations, and heat load calculations;
  • Providing explanations of the designs to colleagues, supervisors, and/or clients.

Not "Just an Employee"

We must make a difference daily to perform at our best for our clients. That's what we ask of all our employees, including you as a Hardware Engineer. You find it challenging to work on the most exciting assignments and projects. In addition:

  • You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) in electrical engineering or equivalent work/thinking level;
  • You preferably have experience with Eplan-P8, Eplan ProPanel, Intelec, and/or AutoCAD;
  • You have knowledge of PLC technology and the applicable standards for low-voltage installations;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

Not "Just a Set of Employment Conditions"

At the largest technical service provider in the Netherlands, you don't just get a job but a career with concrete growth opportunities. You will have a lot of responsibility and independence in your work. We ask a lot from you as a Hardware Engineer, and therefore we offer a lot. Specifically, for this position, based on a 40-hour workweek, we offer:

  • A starting one-year contract with the intention to extend to indefinite duration;
  • A balanced and well-aligned remuneration package based on your education/experience;
  • Travel expense reimbursement;
  • A PMT pension scheme of which SPIE pays over 70%. For later;
  • 25 vacation days + 13 ADV days. That adds up nicely. Additionally, the option to buy or sell vacation and/or ADV days;
  • An annual profit payout, a flexible benefits package, and the possibility to buy SPIE shares under favorable conditions;
  • A mobile phone (with many options) and a laptop. Everything you need to be successful;
