What will you do as an Investor Relations Manager?

Investor Relations is a strategic management responsibility that integrates finance, communication, marketing, and securities law compliance. The key responsibility of the Investor Relations Manager is to support Vopak’s updates to the capital markets with timely and accurate information on Vopak's operations, strategy, and financial performance to support investment decisions by (potential) shareholders and investors. This is achieved by undertaking an active Investor Relations program supported by investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and seminars to enable the most effective two-way communication between Vopak, the financial community, and other parties, which contributes to Vopak's securities achieving fair valuation.

What do we expect from you as an Investor Relations Manager?

• Master's degree in Business Economics, Finance, or relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the Investor Relations field
• Prior experience in Big 4, investment banks, or M&A firms are preferred
• Experience in the energy market, including fuel, chemical, fuel transport, and shipping industry is a plus
• In-depth understanding of the financial markets, including valuation techniques, capital structures, and market dynamics
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and engagingly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to teamwork
• Native or almost native-level proficiency in English
• Excellent relationship and presentation skills and comfortable interacting with executive leaders
• Team player, ability to plan ahead, self-starter, demonstrating ownership.

How does your day look like?

As Investor Relations Manager, you will be a part of the Investor Relations team of 3 colleagues, and you will prepare and may participate in individual and group meetings with shareholders and equity analysts. You will report to the Vice President of Communications & Investor Relations.

Your core responsibilities are:

• Quarterly reporting
• Prepare investor communications and other presentation materials for investors conferences and roadshows, public announcements, meetings with shareholders, investors, analysts, etc.
• Maintain and develop IR and institutional ownership database
• Support the organization and execution of roadshows, shareholder meetings, one-on-one meetings, conference calls and contribute to website updates
• Coordinate financial reports (Annual Report, etc) and Capital Market Days
• Undertake calls/meetings and presentations to institutional investors and respond to requests from analysts and investors in cooperation with the Vice President Communications & Investor Relations.
• Prepare quarterly interim updates and HY and FY earnings releases
• Keep track of financial press releases and review sell-side reports
