Role:Rabobank is looking for a Tech Lead / IT Lead, with proven experience in leading in complex environments. In this role, you are primarily responsible for leading several squads in our Area Online Access Management, responsible for the Authentication of the Rabobank app and Website.

  • Responsibilities:Managerially and integrally responsible for IT Delivery: ensuring good performing squads, hiring good people, and maintaining a robust production process..
  • Focus on performance and compliance in the context of standards, information security, and risk.
  • Responsible for both Change and run or better: DevSecOps.

Digital Platform:Within the CITO division Retail NL Tech, the domain Digital Platform is the main driver behind the digital experience of our 7 million customers and enabler of Rabobank's most strategic objectives. Within Tribe Digital Platform, our squads work on a digital platform that provides the frameworks and tools for over 200 teams that build our modern digital experience, while ensuring the highest standards for quality, performance, and security.

Online Access Management:Responsible for Authentication and Authorisation functionality both in the app and on the website. It's about: Are you the person that you say you are and if so what are you allowed to do/see. Think about Logon and Signing functionality, Access Code, QR code, Tin Bio, face ID and all sorts of authorisations including Power of attorney. The squads are not only responsible for this functionality in the application but also for the quality, performance, security, and compliance of these services.

Profile

  • Requirements:High tech savviness in the field of software development, security, and performance.
  • Experience in the agile way of working and understanding the risk & compliance needs of a bank.
  • Self-starter with intrinsic motivation, experienced in hiring the right engineers.
  • People-oriented collaborator, customer-oriented and inspiring.
  • Key Characteristics:Academic working and thinking level.
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments.
  • Affinity with CIAM is a must, accustomed and comfortable with a “span of control” of approximately 20-30 employees.
  • Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile.
  • Demonstrable results in guiding DevOps teams towards autonomy and high performance.
  • Affinity and passion for digitization and Cloud technology.
  • Mastery of the English language (business level, writing, and speaking).
  • Pivotal role in weighing interests and risks together with the business, maintaining composure in difficult discussions.
  • Additional Competencies:Team player who quickly creates overview and insight for self, direct colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Effective in dealing with unexpected setbacks, incidents, or calamities.
  • Adept at breaking down complicated issues and making them manageable.
  • Capable of thinking conceptually and then concretising.
  • Strong in coaching and able to convey this to others.
  • Eager to learn and show a steep learning curve.

  • Benefits:A 36 or 40 hour working week.
  • Up to €130,000 salary per year including all benefits based on 40 hours (mid scale 11), based on experience and knowledge. (Basic salary, EBB, holiday allowance, and 13th month)
  • A 13th month and holiday pay.
  • An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly income) for spending on buying extra vacation days or contributing to your pension.
  • Flexibility in working hours and location-independent working.
  • A collective pension scheme with only a 5% contribution from you.
