Your Position

As Tax Assurance Specialist you will be a key partner to our finance team, reporting directly to the Tax Director. Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Tax accounting and reporting under IFRS, review of local country tax packages;
  • Effective tax rate reconciliation;
  • Coordinate the group’s CbCR and Pillar 2 reporting;
  • Tax compliance coordination and automation (not limited to corporate income tax);
  • Set-up and maintain the group’s tax guidelines, review adherence to guidelines and procedures;
  • Contribute to the improving and monitoring of tax control framework;
  • Provide operational tax support to the Financial Shared Services Centre;

Your Profile

The ideal candidate has a degree in (tax) accounting and experience as a consultant of a big-four accounting firm and/or as an in-house tax manager in a large corporate environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a hands-on team player who takes initiative.
  • Has a self-starting, positive, and pragmatic attitude with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Exhibits excellent analytical and numerical abilities, capable of clearly explaining tax accounting treatment.
  • is familiar with the composition of tax returns and how to account for taxes, including effective tax rate reconciliations and deferred tax positions.
  • Is proficient in working with financial software applications and eager to improve and automate tax controls and monitoring.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and fluency in both Dutch and English.

This position offers a competitive salary range between 5.300,00 EUR and 7.100,00 EUR gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance) and the ability to grow. On top of your fixed salary, you’ll receive the following secondary benefits:​
