What will you do as a Global Workday Consultant?

As a Global Workday Consultant, you play a crucial role in the alignment of the Vopak demand organization, Global HR, and external software vendors and consultants. It is a hybrid role combining business knowledge with IT experience. Activities will be executed in the context of projects, as a member of a project team, or independently as part of incident, change, problem, and release management.

The Global Workday Consultant reports to the Global Director HR Digital Solutions.

What do we expect from you as a Global Workday Consultant?

• At least a Bachelor's Degree (higher vocational level).
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in an HRIS/systems environment and knowledge of HR processes.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.
• Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English.

What does your day look like?

You will search for system enhancements and process improvements. Together with the Global Director HR Digital Solutions and other Workday consultants, you will design, test, and implement these improvements.

You will support and train HR colleagues globally to ensure smooth facilitation of their processes in Workday.

You will create reports enabling management to take informed decisions.

You will develop training and support materials.

Your core responsibilities are:

• Actively engage with and motivate Vopak HR to maximize the use of Workday within Vopak, including new ways of working in the system.
• Comprehend the overall scope of the system and be an expert in and owner of several modules.
• Work closely with the Global Director HR Digital Solutions and an international group of HR colleagues to prioritize business and information needs.
• Proactively discover and investigate ways to improve (businesses) processes. Discuss these with the process owner, test, and implement them.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Analyze and test Workday system changes, updates, and new releases.
• Troubleshoot system and data problems within Workday and implement and test the required solutions.
• Support HR colleagues on questions regarding business processes, reporting, and data.
