Senior IT Project Manager – Commerce & Customer Solutions

The ICT department consists of 35 colleagues, primarily based in the Netherlands. The team is divided into the following pillars: APAC, Connected Sites & Workforce, Core Technology, Customer & Supplier Solutions, Data & Analytics, Finance & People & Culture, Security, Service Management, and Transportation Management. Our Customer & Supplier Solutions team consists of 5 colleagues who are responsible for all IT related interactions with our customers and suppliers, in which the Salesforce platform plays a big role.

About the role

To support us in realizing our ambitions, we have a great opportunity for a fulltime Senior IT Project Manager – Commerce & Customer Solutions (global scope, location Rotterdam). As a Senior IT Project Manager - Commerce & Customer Solutions, you will be part of a team, which supports a broad user community Den Hartogh. Together with your most important stakeholders you develop a vision and translate that into a roadmap. With a focus on commerce, you will lead projects, collaborate with other departments and teams, and support the business by providing creative solutions. Additionally, you will be in the lead to further improve the Project Management structure within Den Hartogh.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and enhance a vision together with stakeholders, translate this into a roadmap, and ensure the execution of that roadmap;
• Pitch project & process ideas to stakeholders;
• Manage projects from ideation until implementation;
• Work collaboratively across relevant departments of the company and partner with business leaders, IT, business process owners, external partners and other stakeholders to achieve project goals and process improvements;
• Prepare progress reports and present regular status updates to stakeholders and Steering committee;
• Manage key-user organisation; lead meetings, engage key-users and gather improvement ideas;
• Improve Project Management structure within Den Hartogh.

About you

• Bachelor's / Master's degree and proven expertise in (Chemical) Logistics processes;
• Excellent communication, project and change management skills and ability to work in a structured and organized way.
• Strong personality with excellent stakeholder management skills; the ability to convince, motivate, build consensus and make decisions in a multi-cultural environment;
• Ability to think conceptually, strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and being the link between Business and IT;
• (Technical) Knowledge of the Salesforce platform is a pre.
• Fluent in English and Dutch;
