Your role is multifaceted, encompassing strategic responsibilities to lead the Data Academy and embed data management in the organization. This initiative is crucial in supporting Eneco’s ambition to become a data-driven company. Your main tasks are:

• Lead the Data Academy as a mature, company-wide body, promoting data literacy and awareness across Eneco, aligning it with Eneco's digital transformation goals.
• Help business in identifying correct roles and responsibilities (data owners/data stewards) and get them onboard. Guide them on adopting our policies, processes etc.
• Identify and measure data maturity KPIs (Eneco wide) and create insights on the results to the management team. Work on the results and come up with concrete plans and actions.
• Collaborate with data teams and departments to build a comprehensive training curriculum, deciding what to develop in-house and what to source externally.
• Oversee the content, events, and collaboration within the data community, fostering a data-driven culture.

• Formulate a strategic vision for the Data Academy, staying abreast of market innovations and informing relevant departments of opportunities.
• Work closely with HR and other departments (like privacy and security) to ensure a broad and aligned educational approach.
• Contribute to the vision and policies of data management.
• Business adoption of data strategy: data literacy awareness sessions, conducting roadshows etc.
• Responsible for data management within the allocated domains (business units).

• 5+ Years experience in data management and training, learning & development.
• In-depth knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK, i.e. data-architectural principles and guidelines.
• A broad knowledge of common architectural standards and principles.
• Strong knowledge of data-related topics such as data analysis, data visualization, data management and able to translate the needs to suitable trainings.
• Experience with change management methodology (e.g.: ADKAR).
• Organisation skills for inspiration - and knowledge sessions (e.g., Hackathons, Data Insights, peer-2-peer sessions with other organizations).
• You know how to work with different stakeholders and overcome conflicting interests.
• Excellent communication skills and good command of the Dutch and English language in speaking and writing.
  

You will be joining our diverse and inclusive team. Your team consists of 2 Data Management Specialist, a Data Quality specialist and 3 Enterprise Data Managers. You'll also work with a lot of stakeholders throughout the company.
