SAP Senior Manufacturing Functional Expert (Manufacturing PP/PI)

We are looking for an SAP Functional Lead expert who will have an overall responsibility for integrating complex business processes within/or between SAP systems and other Manufacturing Assets with the ability to design and deliver solutions as part our digital transformation program road map i.e., rollout project, global solution deployment and S/4HANA transformation considering performance, data quality and business continuity.

Your key responsibilities:

The SAP Functional Lead experts will focus on designing and building processes for Manufacturing operations which is the set of activities carried out to keep a plant or system in a condition where it can perform its function consistently and reliable.

• Together with cluster operations teams across various businesses shape new opportunities, identify potential impact on (business) processes and translate them into digital solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and desired capabilities, understand the value to dsm-firmenich and provide constructive challenge where appropriate.
• Turn aligned requirements into clear user stories (why & what) and collaborate with colleagues and the development teams to ensure a successful delivery of solutions.
• As part of successful solution delivery, accountable for executing the functional solution design considering customer / user experience / target audiences, data modelling and relationships – along with integration implications with other internal and external platforms, functional logic, etc.
• Collaborate closely with technical resources to determine the technical design in line with the functional solution design and understand the impact and implications of various solution options from business operations to technical performance – ultimately presenting the options back to the business, providing a recommendation and gaining clear alignment with business stakeholders on the direction.
• Key stakeholder management by setting expectations on development approach and timelines – be able to identify key risks whether in design or during execution and collaborate and act with the broader team as required to mitigate risks and impact.
• Guide the business stakeholders on successfully activating the solutions that have been designed.
• Run, Execute and deliver SAP solution in project mode (Design, Configuration, Set Up, Test and Solution Validation) including cut over and go live.
• Address level 3 support on SAP Core solution for complex issues
• Support Key users during data migration runs as needed.
• Contribute to the delivery of improvement plan impacting the Manufacturing functional domain.
• Suggesting process improvements on Manufacturing functional area

You bring:

• Excellent functional knowledge on SAP Manufacturing / Make functional domain (SAP PP-LE)
• Implementation Experience with SAP PP, PM, QM, LIMS; Computer System Validation; System Interfacing; Labelling, Barcoding and Scanning.
• Good ABAP understanding and General IT skills (network, middleware technology)
• Previous exposure to Project management aspects
• Familiar with concept of enterprise architecture and complex system landscape
• Customer-driven (outside-in); Satisfying customers through early and continuous delivery of valuable work; Strong ability to own and drive initiatives.
• A well-versed business acumen in digital maintenance and operations
• Familiarity or experience in agile way of working. Scrum methodology as a plus
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree with business or technical focus.
• Experience in turning business ideas into digital tools.
• Fluent in English.
