As a Junior Technical Security Specialist within Security Governance & Control, you work VodafoneZiggo's technologies of tomorrow, today. It is of utmost importance to protect our customers’ data according to the latest security standards and policies, and beyond.Security Governance & Control is responsible for securing the VodafoneZiggo infrastructure by the right technical security controls. Our security policies and legislation are important input for the security control framework. VodafoneZiggo is ISO-27001 certified, and our corporate customers are demanding the highest security standards. The Dutch RV-IT, the European GDPR act, the changing security threat landscape have influence on our day to day operation.

What you bring to the job

You can build on strong analytical skills to influence people and departments on implementing our enterprise security roadmap. As a Junior Technical Security Specialist you define and realize a steep learning curve in the area of Technical Security. You are able to communicate VodafoneZiggo security processes and procedures. You support our security risk management process and compliancy reporting. Finally, it is important to get actively involved in our secure by design process.

You have:

• HBO level of education
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within security, process management, security compliancy
• Self starting, get things done mentality
• Intrinsic motivation to learn, develop and mature in technical security
• Able to get familiar with different security control frameworks like ISO 27000, ISAE3402, SOx, BBGT, NIST, RV-IT, etc.
