Do you want to be part of the data acceleration in the banking industry as Data Advisor for Data Analytics within Data Management Solutions?

Data Management Solutions is part of the Data Management Grid and responsible for the implementation for the central use case administration of all the Business Intelligence, Analytics and/or Advanced Analytics Use Cases on the Data MarketPlace and guiding the adoption with the relevant stakeholders.

You will work directly with product Owners, engineers, and business counterparts to bring data management solutions from idea to production. As a Data Advisor you translate the strategic vision to the functional implementation of the products and processes, with a strong focus on enabling the Data Users to use the correct and combined processes within the Data Management grid in a governed, traceable and secure manner. We are looking for people that are passionate about data and have a “get it done” mentality. Our Data Advisors have a great understanding of data management, the business needs, a good feel for how to build and implement solutions within an agile way of working.

Your job

As an Data Advisor you play a pivotal role in the Data Management Grid.

Some examples of your responsibilities:

• Continuously align with Business Stakeholders to advise on how Data Analytics can bring value for them, and to understand their needs
• Identify potential improvements and gaps in existing products and processes by bringing the outside-in view on Data Analytics
• Translate the strategic vision to the functional implementation of the products and processes
• Actively contribute to the drafting and maintenance of the necessary policy frameworks, policies and standards
• Create awareness and involvement within the organisation by developing learning materials, publications, information meetings and all other forms of communication
• Take care of priority, cooperation, knowledge sharing, and process and capabilities building with regard to the Data Analytics
  

Working environment

The Data Management Grid provide solutions to enable the Data Domains in accelerate data-driven decisions. As a Data Advisor you are part of the Data Management Solutions enablement teams within the Data Management Grid and part of the Central Data Office. This is a central department of Innovation & Technology with a bank-wide responsibility for data management. You work closely together with the Business Stakeholders and users from all business lines of the Bank, and with advisors, product owners and other enthusiastic professionals in the Data Management Grid and Central Data Office.

Your profile

Master’s degree or similar

At least 3 years of experience with:

• Business Intelligence, Analytics and/or Advanced Analytics
• Consulting, stakeholder management and Communication.
• New data integration concepts
• Conceptual thinking
• Effective problem solving
• Understanding and bridging the world of Business, Data and IT
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English (understanding of Dutch is appreciated)
