We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Operational Excellence team.

What you will be doing:

The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the implementation of best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Our Operational Excellence team drives and helps prioritize the Marel improvement agenda set by the Executive Team, as well as excellence in processes and projects in close cooperation with the Functions, Divisions, and other key stakeholders. In this role you will have significant exposure to senior leadership and great career opportunities in an international environment.

Main tasks

The role focuses on participating in and supporting the projects and tasks that the department is responsible for, which mostly, but not exclusively, focus on the following areas:

  • Participate in strategic, cross-functional, highly impactful projects selected by Marel’s Executive Team.
  • Run analyses and create actionable data-driven insights and positively contribute to project success.
  • Support in successful implementation of strategic transformations and secure follow through
  • Support post-merger integration of acquired companies.
  • Contribute to best practice sharing across Divisions, Functions and locations.

The position demands an impact-driven and business-minded individual with strong problem-solving, analytical and leadership skills and abilities.

  • >1 year work experience in an international work environment
  • Outstanding academic performance from a top-tier academic institution
  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Change management, or equivalent
  • Consulting experience is preferred
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning skills
  • Great interpersonal, communication and leadership abilities
  • Comprehensive business and financial understanding
  • Fluency in English and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highest integrity
  • Some travel expected (dependent on projects)
