We are investing in new technologies and building specific therapeutic area and platform depth and capabilities – all to bring our medicines to patients even faster.We are seeking key talent, like you, to join us and help give people with disease and their families a brighter future to look forward to.Apply today and welcome to where we thrive together!The RoleThis role offers hybrid working, requiring 3 days per week in our Novartis White City London office.As a Project Planner in the Strategic Affairs team, you will be accountable for leading data entries and data flow management into Novartis Horizon system that is used for project milestones oversight including financials demands and actuals.Key Accountabilities:Horizon system RA data maintenanceYou will oversee the RA Global work packages (WPs) for all projects in Horizon, including day to day data entry and maintenance of RA Global WPsYou will ensure operational excellence by proficient, accurate & harmonized project planning and tracking across RA for external and internal resources, in close collaboration with RA project representatives (Coordinators, regulatory managers and regulatory directors) and RA management.You will liaise with RA project representatives and Program Management representatives to ensure timely update of RA relevant WPs.Maintains connection across RA units/functions/groups to align on processes where necessary.RA GDD management and finance representativesYou will generate regular Horizon & financial tool reports for portfolio & project reviews (e.g. for RA Management, finance, etc)You will be responsible for leading the review, update, and validation of external cost and resource plans in Horizon, and challenging input as needed to ensure realistic forecasting.You will represent RA line function in Novartis Horizon Center of Excellence discussions.RA Horizon management for data entry and maintenance.You will ensure data entry & reporting are done in compliance to above defined processes and best practices together with other resource planners.You will act as primary contact point for RA related Horizon questions.You will manage RA Horizon mailbox and SharePoint site.RA communication related to Horizon:Provide communications and updates as need to ensure RA associates engagement and compliance with Horizon related RA processes.Your experience:Bachelor’s degree preferred. Finance background is a plus.Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably regulatory affairs.Significant experience working in a global team environment with a customer-oriented approach. Detailed oriented with analytical mindset. Demonstrated technical and database skills.Experience in working in matrix environment, relationship-building skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships across stakeholders, cross-function teams, and other level of the organization.Must be able to work independently, and handle new assignment with minimal supervisionStrong communication and presentation skills.Why Novartis: Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
