As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you are responsible for solid data management, the implementation of proper tools and techniques and to add intelligence to our data processing. We migrated our data to the cloud, which is our starting point for realizing our ambition of becoming a data tech operation.
You will extract, analyze and interpret a diversity of data from a wide range of sources, using data mining, machine learning and Tableau. You ensure the data accessible to PACCAR Parts Europe (PPE) operation business. Furthermore, you work closely with other PPE operation departments in achieving the PPE operation business objectives of delivering truck parts to customers fast, reliable and efficiently.As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:
- Take care of the cloud-based data warehouse, ensure reliability and effectiveness
- Use data to identify issues and propose solutions to support effective decision-making
- Merge, manage, interpret and structure data as a fundament for data analytics
- Define technical enhancements and steer technical developers on a daily basis to build those
- Ensure data quality and security in line with IT policies and compliant with GDPR
- Translate business needs into technical data solutions and provide the business with valuable reports, dashboards and business solutions
- Use logical thinking in combination with data to produce solutions to problems
- Grasp latest technology, techniques and methods from the outside world and develop prototypes and proof of concepts to improve the value and flow of data
- Maintain a close cooperation with PPE operations stakeholders, to truly understand their needs and developing data solutions together
- Act as Product Owner of the data team, creating a roadmap for future development, set priorities and ensure effective cooperation between the team and PPE operation business
- Be responsible for tool selection, roll out, support, and authorization management
