Imagine yourself as an Innovation intern, analyzing the start-up ecosystem around our innovation portfolio and making a selection and validation of parties that Rabobank could work with, including a rationale why that fits in with our strategy. You work closely with our innovation managers in the focus areas that come from their innovation themes. So you combine your analytical skills with strategic thinking. You will work together with the Open Innovation team to conduct research. You can also write your thesis and use up to 2 days per week for that. Sounds good? Rabo Innovation Factory You will be working with a fun, young, energetic and diverse group of colleagues from the Open Innovation team, which is a part of Innovation Factory, the in-house innovation engine of Rabobank. Most of Rabobank's innovations are incubated via the Innovation Factory. We are a big fan of collaborating with start/scale ups and together we aim to build a bank for the future. We scout for potential companies and check the feasibility of collaborating together both in the Netherlands and internationally. We work on interesting topics such as Agtech, Carbon farming, Energy Transition and many more! Our long-term objective is to make valuable and concrete contribution to help the organization become innovative for our colleagues, partners and millions of customers worldwide. You and your job As Open Innovation intern you know the secrets of understanding the innovation landscape and its upcoming trends, and you can capture it in a clear and understandable way and present it to our internal clients. You will work within a dynamic world with many different focus areas and your job will never be boring, because you are exploring and understanding the future and making sure Rabobank is acting up on your insights and recommendations. Examples: As an Innovation intern you spot opportunities and see the potential in them: You make market analyses on relevant value pockets. You guide and help the product owners in scouting and selecting external start-ups and scale-ups from outside Rabobank. You spot, validate and facilitate collaborations between these parties and the bank. Based on market developments, you proactively look for new opportunities for collaboration. You and your talent You are currently in your last Bachelor year or Master program, for ideally in Strategic Product Design, Innovation Sciences, Entrepreneurship, (technical) Business Administration or Business Economics. You have knowledge and interest in the innovation and start-up landscape You are eager to learn, explore new things and challenge status quo You are a strong communicator and know to give presentations Understanding, speaking and writing the English language is a must have and needed to successfully fill this position.
