Technical Projects Engineer

What is position about - Purpose:

1- Full responsibility for the project execution phase considering JTI policies from Safety, quality, IACS Robustification, Management of changes, coordination of the execution activities with all stakeholders, monitor & reports progress accordingly.
2- Ensure applying JTI acceptance criteria, close project snag list and handover projects to all stakeholders. 3- Monitor and manage project budget to spend on time and within the approved budget. 4- Support providing technical solutions for machinary and operation issues.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

  • Determine and define projects scope of work and deliverables and align on it
  • Oversee, follow up, and direct machines related projects from beginning to end Review and monitor the project in-depth
  • Lead and ensure implementation of multiple projects within timely, budget, quality, and safety standards
  • Manage project Design, BOQ (Bill of quantity), tendering, selection, contracting, and claims Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreement
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
  • Review and validate all production and quality change requests
  • Find areas of improve in all machines that help to increase OEE or reduce losses
  • Continually assess production Investment requirements
  • Review and approve contractor technical submittals, review the workshop drawings and technical proposals
  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
  • Ensure work is done in compliance with all technical process, maintenance, safety codes and JTI guidelines
  • Manage and mitigate the risks by creating/reviewing a detailed method of statements and risk assessments for each project and ensure the compliance with JTI standards
  • Contribute to achieve the factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS, Energy & Quality management systems and ensure comply with code of conduct, legal & other requirements.

Who we are looking for - Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Excellent knowledge of project management
  • 3 - 4 years of relative project management experience
  • Industrial background with good knowledge in machine process and maintenance
  • Good command of both Arabic & English Languages (spoken and written)
  • Very good computer skill (MS, Autocad…etc.)
  • Very good communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems
  • Very good inspection, Planning, scheduling Skills
  • Very good data Analysis and Reporting capabilities
  • Excellent project management skills (timeline, budget, resources management)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and commitments
