Medior/Senior Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Medior/Senior Graphic Designer to join our Design Team. The Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation of the artworks for all collections and the DTP work for all other departments within the organisation. In this role, you need to make sure that the artwork is innovative, commercial, and fits well with our brand identity and customer's needs. The African cultural heritage needs to be well translated throughout all designs and make sure that our vision is well translated within the designs.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Make sure a strong innovative artwork collection is well designed for all collections.
• Doing research according to the concept storyline together with the Art direction team.
• Make artworks-based trend analysis file and artwork direction file for menswear and womenswear and accessories and zooms in on print techniques, colours and details. Be up to date with the innovative development within your discipline.
• Ensures all the artworks fits the needs of the brand’s vision, target audience and makes sure the African cultural heritage is well represented within the designs.
• Presents the artwork collection to external departments.
• Makes artwork direction files focusing on guidelines and what is needed for the collection visually.
• Make the artwork and artwork sheets ready for development to be sent to the suppliers.
• Make all files print or desktop ready for other departments such as Production, Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, Art Direction, Office, PR and the Store.

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
• 3 -5 years working experience in the design department within a fashion company or related organization
• Advanced knowledge in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Exceptional creativity and innovation, analyzing, conceptual thinking, team player
• Fluency in English and based in The Netherlands
