Public Relations Intern

Pearl Abyss - the company behind the highly acclaimed Black Desert franchise- is seeking a high-performing, innovative, results-oriented Public Relations Intern for its European Publishing Office to accelerate growth and reach millions of players across all platforms (PC, Mobile, Console, etc.).

As a Public Relations Intern, you'll work with the publishing and development teams to build PR plans and activation strategies that resonate with media within the EMEA region.

You will join a lean but dedicated team working across multiple communities, platforms and games such as Black Desert, and upcoming releases such as Crimson Desert, DokeV and PLAN 8. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to ensure all Pearl Abyss current and future titles will achieve European goals.

Internship period: Flexible starting dates, internship period last for 3 to 6 months depending on program requirements
Responsibilities:

• Manage calendars (editorial, press conferences, events, internal meetings, etc..)
• Liaise with our development studio to ask for information and assets for upcoming beats
• Suggest innovative ideas in brainstorming sessions
• Provide assistance in organization of in-person events
• Write, edit and proofread different types of PR content (press releases, media announcement, presentations)
• Examine and document media coverage and track relevant PR metrics for internal reports
• Maintain contact databases and mailing lists with updates
• Responsible for the press clipping archive and scanning of materials for periodical reports
• Perform a variety of different administrative tasks

• You are currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master at a Dutch/Netherlands university in : public relations, communications, or similar relevant field
• Passion for Videogames
• Applicable knowledge of copywriting and editing
• Experience with social media platforms (X, Facebook etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Previous working experience as a PR intern and knowledge in relevant field is a plus
• Korean language proficiency is a plus

• Competitive monthly internship allowance of €500~ €1000/month depending on experience
• Public Transport Expenses Coverage - maximum €400/month if eligible
