Treasury Analyst Intern

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
In the Amsterdam HQ you will meet interlinked Finance teams, Global functions (internal audit, treasury, corporate, cash management…) and Regional functions (FP&A, Capex controller, accounting payables and receivables…). The teams define finance guidelines and animate all the markets to deliver our common company targets. Our role is to support the business teams in their decisions to create value added for our stakeholders.

WHAT CAN WE OFFER?

A Treasury analyst position. As an analyst you will be contributing to

Cash management and forecasting on global scope

You will support on the reconciliation every day of the cash bank position/ forecast and balance intraday positions / forecast and balance upcoming weekly positions

Management of intercompany and external debt

You will support on the administration of the intercompany portfolio, manage external debt (overdraft, revolver)

Foreign exchange risk management

You will be supporting in defining the daily forex position, propose adjustments/ hedges, ensure the proper settlement of the operations

• Engage in various Treasury projects (for instance cash concentration or cash visibility projects)
• Complete Know Your Customer (KYC) requests with our banking partners
• Animate treasury operational daily/ weekly/ monthly controls
• Reporting and analysis (Daily cash position per geos and accessibility/ bank fees/ bank forex result and portfolio etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

• Student (Master), it is important you remain enrolled with your university.
• Passion for beauty and our brands, strong affinity with dynamic environment
• Analytical, good with numbers and strong excel skills.
• Does not shy away from responsibilities and is happy to provide added value.
• Proactive and hands-on
• Flexible and loves challenges
• Good administrative & communication skills and likes to work in a team
• Fluent in English

PERIOD
This internship is full-time (40 hours per week), for a duration of 5-6 months and starts from August/September 2024. You will receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis. Be aware that this will largely have to be done in your own time.
