Allseas is looking for a hands-on SAP Security & Authorizations Specialist to protect our business critical SAP application landscape.

We have started a company-wide SAP S/4HANA migration (Programme Flow), and you will have a leading role within the implementation and the transition to the IT run-organisation regarding the governance and setup of SAP Security and Authorizations.

The SAP Technology team is currently part of Programme Flow, and will move to the IT department after a successful Go-Live. The programme is handling both private- and public cloud products from SAP to achieve a successful business transformation. S/4HANA is on the private cloud, and Ariba, SuccessFactors & SAP BTP are on the public cloud.

The IT Department is responsible for the design, maintenance and support of Allseas’ information technology infrastructure. This enables the organization to leverage both information and technology in an efficient, productive, reliant, performant, compliant, and secure manner.

Your role

Your passion lies within improving IT-related processes, systems and controlling the ever-changing IT-risks within organizations. Through analysis, checks, audits and advising, you will contribute to the overall readiness of Allseas IT around the new SAP ecosystem. S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba and SAP BTP form the core of the IT-environment, supporting many core-business activities across many business units. This makes for a complex IT-landscape and challenging stakeholder management.

As a SAP Security and Authorizations specialist, your focus lies specifically on the risks related to the SAP ecosystem and their processes and configurations. There is a lot of room within Allseas to start defining new processes as well around SAP Security and Authorizations. Effectively, you will massively contribute to one of the many IT transformations.

In your role, you will be encouraged to further develop the state of security, controls and authorizations on SAP both on the private- and public cloud. Your ability to also develop governance and creating a support base in the internal organization will be key in the general awareness around security and its adoption.

You also have a continuous drive to increase efficiency by automating user provisioning in SAP products. Allseas is looking into leveraging 3rd party tools to help overall provisioning of user access, but this is not yet connected to the SAP ecosystem. You show affinity with automation and exploring its capabilities that match the needs Allseas.

As the SAP Security & Authorizations Specialist, you will oversee all SAP Security activities and serve as a contact for IT and business colleagues to advise them on SAP security topics:

  • Develop best practice security procedures, principles and role design for the Flow Programme.
  • Develop, communicate, and deploy SAP Security governance standards and best practices for both private- and public cloud scenario’s.
  • Provide training and support for policies, procedures and security role design to users in business terminology.
  • Develop and further enhance SAP security roles and authorizations for various SAP systems such as SAP S4/HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP BTP.
  • Further develop vision on General IT Controls and Process Controls.
  • Contribute on automating Identity and Access management within the SAP landscape. This includes centralizing user provisioning and its governance via Azure Active Directory and/or additional 3rd party tools.
  • Keep track of the compliancy state of the SAP eco-system on both the application (bugs, fixes and developments) and infra-level (networking, OS, patch-levels).
  • Further develop the ingestion of SAP SIEM-events into Microsoft Sentinel and mature monitoring and alerting.
  • Keeping tabs on the SAP Hot News releases and assessing their validity and/or their implementation in close collaboration with the Allseas Functional Business Analysts.

What we expect from you

Eventually, what we are looking for in a candidate is that you have a good understanding of IT fundamentals regarding (SAP) application security, and identity and access management (IAM). You have a desire to automate and innovate and can adapt to change. You have good communication skills, are proactive and like to collaborate with your team/colleagues.

You have:

  • HBO/BSc degree in Information Technology (or equivalent via work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of SAP related security solutions.
  • Previous experience with SAP applications such as SAP S4/HANA, Success Factors, Ariba, and SAP BTP would be beneficial.
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum) and associated tools like Azure DevOps and/or SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Experience with ITSM (IT Service Management) tools like TopDesk.

What we offer you

Working at Allseas allows you the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with creative thinking, collaboration and down-to-earth culture at its core.

You can expect:

  • Competitive industry benchmarked salary and pension.
  • Performance-based salary raises and bonuses.
  • 30 holidays days per year, flexible working hours.
  • Extensive training and development programme, study budgets and coaching.
  • A company-sponsored fitness scheme
  • Internal clubs, committees, parties and (sportive) events.
