ABOUT MANOMETRIC:

Manometric is a ‘med-tech’ startup, specialised in improving orthoses and prosthetics with 3D Technology. We have built a proprietary 3D Hand Scanner, along with highly innovative brace designs and automation software. We work directly with hospitals and clinics, and help new patients every day.

Our mission is to transform orthoses and prosthetics from necessities to products people love to wear. We have a highly skilled and diverse team, consisting of Orthopedic Specialists, Industrial Designers and Hardware & Software Engineers.

We are looking for a Junior Operations Manager (3D team) for production work.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Junior Operations Manager in the 3D team, you play a key part in running our team - organizing the 3D modellers about their work, and performing critical tasks to enable the 3D modelling of braces and splints. Your work requires you to be sharp. Details matter, and your high standard for ensuring that 3D modeling happens on time and in full ensures that we can keep the promises that we make to our clients. You like to take initiative to improve current products and processes, and are never happy with ‘good enough’ - joy is found in things running smoothly.

The challenges that you will face can include:

At peak times throughout the day, the 3D modelling team can feel like a kitchen during rush-hour. Can you cut through the noises and take charge to ensure that we meet our deadlines?

QC fails and rework slow our team down. Can you identify trends and coach our modellers to reduce this inefficiency using our data reporting and dashboards?

Dividing the work equally creates not only a fair and enjoyable working environment, but your choices can also help to onboard new modellers more quickly and help them to reach their full potential.

You must organize multiple streams of information in our operational chain in the backstage of modelling tasks to get the right information to our our modellers before they even ask for it.

'Additional communication' between teams is not in line with out ‘speed is key’ mantra. How can you align the teams to reduce this wasted effort?

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Junior Operations Manager will be tasked with:

  • Creating a strategy for and organizing the work for a team of 8 3D modellers. The Manager will orchestrate a day’s 3D modelling to minimize internal and client delays, while also ensuring that the team can effectively tackle peak days.
  • Driving the 3D modelling of braces and splints through the timely delivery of parts to external suppliers and in-house teams.
  • The team Operations Manager will be sharp on ensuring that our inputs (including 3D scans and orders) are up to the standard that enables the team to create quality products.
  • You will also take ownership of the team’s output quality control.
  • The Ops. Manager will also ensure that the team’s digital infrastructure is kept clean and organized.
  • Acting as a contact point for the team between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Improving and optimizing your tasks and workflows to ensure that the team can effectively scale it’s operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • HBO level study completed in an applicable area of expertise.
  • We are welcoming to those who are just beginning their careers as well as those with work experience.
  • Available to work minimum 4 days a week at our office in Den Haag.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and discipline to uphold high standards.
  • A great communicator - with good spoken and written skills in both the Dutch and English language.
  • Ability to work to and enforce tight team deadlines, and keep a cool head while doing so.
  • Proactive in improving workflows to enable the team scale.
  • Critical and assertive when you spot errors and mistakes. See a problem, own a problem.
  • You are computer literate, and enjoy learning new skills and software with IT and computing technology.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Salary between €2.500 - €2.800 per month (based on 40 hour work week)
  • Travel expenses contribution.
  • Employer pension scheme.
  • 25 vacation days (based on 40 hour work week).
