AssignmentSeveral connecting jigs (in use in our Veghel factory) needs to be digitized in SolidWorks so in case of losing or damaging the actual jig a drawing is available to make a copy of the jig. While digitizing the jig a check needs to be done on the jig or the required item dimensions can be reached while using this jig (an improvement on the jig design is in this case required). Jigs are now sometimes made from scratch material; this needs to be made from standard base material.

Department

A large part of the welding jigs are already digitized in Solidworks so a new way of working does not have to be created. The assignment needs to be done in the factory (Manufacturing Engineering). Working from home is possible.Manufacturing Engineering (team of 12) is responsible for processing customer orders to work orders for our Veghel factory.This includes determine routing for items through te factory, time calculation for items and organizing required tooling. Basically engineering the complete manufacturing and assembly process for almost all Vanderlande products.

Your responsibilities

Analyze the design of the jig
When required: improve the design of the jig
Finally: digitize the new design in Solidworks

Your profile

Mechanical Engineering in combination with CAD design experience.
SolidWorks or similar CAD design software.
Mandatory enrolment in a Dutch Education System and resident of The Netherlands
