The position

We are looking for a new Business Solution Consultant (Investment Risk & Performance) within the Business Solutions department that is situated within the Securities Services business line of BNP Paribas SA Amsterdam branch.

The position you’re applying for/Your new role

The Business Solution Consultant (BC) reports directly to the Head of Business Solutions and is the driving force of new developments within the Investment Risk & Performance domain. The BC knows the whole investment process from begin to end and develops the best possible sustainable solution, implements on a controlled manner and secures the change within the departments.

Main goal is to further optimize and professionalize BP2S Netherlands and be part of realizing BP2S overall strategy. It is an all-round job position where you will touch common grounds like business consultancy, process and application specialist and project management.

He/she works closely with Securities Services employees (Client Line, Client Delivery, and Client Development) to define operating models in line with clients’ needs and in line with the Securities Services framework and operating model.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business solutions for (new) clients and/or internal on product, process or regulation;
• Creation of specifications of new developments with stakeholders, assessing the impact and advising the organization/stakeholders to come to clear, supported and sustainable solutions;
• Prepare business case documentation on the cost side as requested;
• Implementation of the change. Doing it self, by participation, or by coordination;
• Simcorp Dimension development and maintenance;
• Training of colleagues (change and first line support run teams) and knowledge sharing of experience and newly build expertise;
• Monitor market practices and regulatory developments, identifying trends and potential opportunities for new product development / investment;
• Being subject matter expert (SME) for specific products/services and assist in client and sales presentations

Who you are

· Master Economics, Finance, Econometrics or Business Administration;

· 5+ years’ experience in the financial investment management services industry, including knowledge of Performance Measurement, Financial Risk, investment products and processes, IT architecture;

· Proven ability to work for 5+ years within integrated investment management systems, preferably SimCorp Dimension;

· Project- and change management and/or consultancy experience;

· Pro-active, strong analytical and cross border process overview;

· Collaborative mindset and social communications skills;

· Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
