Customer Project Engineer

In this role, you are mainly responsible for our Customers in Northern Italy, but also for Southern Europe. The position might be based in the triangle between Venice, Milano and Bologna and reports to the European Engineering Manager. Tasks and Responsibilities Management of PA EMEA projects and system orders, from sales support through the preparation of offers to order processing Creation of specifications for application requirements and system solutions Technical advice to customers, sales and global offices Customer visits Validation of customer specifications by arranging laboratory tests and/or field tests in cooperation with the Commissioning & 2nd Line Support Group Validation of customer specifications through the design of customer-specific components (engineered components) and the associated preparation of offers Creation of system layouts including creation of system parts lists Creation of technical acceptance criteria according to the “window of operation” for the system Development of flow-thru margins for sales managers (manufacturing costs, IC prices, etc.) Preparation of final SAP offers in Italian and English in cooperation with sales Interface to order management Internal/external communication of order changes for system orders Organization of installation up to customer acceptance Support of hotline and quality department concerning technical customer questions, training needs and complaints about quality defects for your system orders Examination of the completeness of materials bills created by the sales department Technical support for commercial activities, such as trade fairs or open houses General business support Requirement Profile University degree in Engineering or in a related field or similar qualification Knowledge in project management High technical understanding/affinity Very good knowledge of products and applications Italian: Native language Fluent English skills Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP Willingness to travel and valid car driver`s license Good communication and presentation skills Good negotiation skills Organizational skills Able to work under pressure Readiness to take on responsibility #LI-MS1 Whatever you do today, Nordson Corporation is likely a part of it.
