Intern Internal Communication

Internal Communication is responsible for the communication to our employees worldwide. We create content that incorporates our strategy and reflects our culture.

As an Internal Communications intern, you will be working closely with the Internal Communications team based in Amersfoort (NL) as well as with colleagues from External Communications and Farmer Communications. During the internship you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and operational activities, in which you will learn and practice the different elements of Internal Communications, such as optimising internal communication channels, media filing, content creation, and corporate communications, to name a few.

What we ask

  • Relevant educational background, for example, in Communication / Journalism / Marketing / Branding / PR.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite.
  • Experience with digital communication channels is a plus.
  • An organised, innovative, creative and results driven individual, with the ability to perform successfully in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask when required.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Availability of 40 hours per week for a period of either 5 or 6 months.

Vacancy description

  • Develop and publish stories, news articles, videos and other content for our internal channels.
  • Review and edit content of communications materials to ensure the content meets established communications standards and guidelines before publication.
  • Support with the organisation, documentation, and publication of content.
  • Assist in improving the effectiveness of our (online) communication tools and channels.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating of photo/video shoots
  • Assist in coordinating with agencies in the design and development of communication materials.
  • Structure, collect and manage information from different stakeholders.

The Internal Communications team is part of the Global Corporate Communication department. The team consists of a manager and six communication managers and specialists.
