We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our high-performing DevOps team. As the Product Owner for Splunk Logging and Monitoring, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategy, development, and implementation of Splunk solutions within our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (on and off-shore) to ensure that Splunk is effectively utilized to enhance logging and monitoring capabilities, streamline processes, and improve overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Define and prioritize product backlog items based on input from stakeholders, market trends, and organizational objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify use cases, define success criteria for Splunk implementations, and shield the team from interruptions. Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of Splunk enhancements and features. Monitor and analyze Splunk usage metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Serve as a subject matter expert on Splunk best practices, tools, and capabilities, providing guidance and support to internal teams as needed. Work closely together with fellow product owners in the same area to align priorities, dependencies, and roadmaps. Shared responsibility with the Scrum Master and Solution Architect (triangle) to ensure alignment of Splunk solutions with overall architectural and Agile framework standards. Work closely with the Scrum Master and your team to help them achieve their full potential and be as successful as possible. Demonstrate the ability to make tough decisions and say "no" when necessary, ensuring that the product backlog remains focused and aligned with organizational goals. Act as an ambassador for the area, representing the interests, ambitions, and priorities. Facilitate the area ceremonies together with your colleague product owners and scrum masters. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner and PSPO I and preferably PSPO II certification with a proven track record of success in managing complex software products. Knowledge of Splunk or similar logging & monitoring tooling Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, with experience working in Scaled Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Experienced in collaboration and innovating with the tech ecosystem of software vendors, preferred suppliers and competitors. Splunk certification (e.g., Splunk Certified Power User, Splunk Certified Admin) is preferred.
