Information Security Manager

What this role is about?

The Information Security Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating digital and information technology (DIT)-related risks to ensure the security and integrity of our organization's systems and data. Collaboration with various teams and functions to develop and implement effective risk management strategies, policies, and procedures. The role is composed of a variety of activities in support of the Information Security Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) and Resilience program ensuring that our organization operates within regulatory guidelines, manages risks appropriately, and aligns with industry best practices.

What will you do?

  • Conduct and support regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Co-ordinate and ensure appropriate plans and measures to reduce and manage risks are in place
  • Support the development and maintenance of information security policies and accompanying standards, procedures and guidelines
  • Support development and delivery of planned compliance reviews and audits, ensuring any gaps are addressed
  • Work with internal stakeholders to promote and improve information security and address security-related concerns
  • Support the security awareness program to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and training to better protect and defend themselves and the organization against cyber-crime and threats
  • Support cyber resilience by assisting in DR awareness programs, incident response and investigations

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Proven experience in GRC management, IT risk management, and compliance
  • Familiarity of IT systems, cloud technologies, Data and infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in security audits, security policies and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • CISM, CISSP or similar ( or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Fluency in English
