Product Compliance & Quality Technical Specialist

As a you are responsible for making sure that the products manufactured and imported by vidaXL meet local market safety requirements and comply with regulations. Our products are sold in 5 continents and 30+ countries, you are able to stay up to date with the change of product legislation in different countries and areas, and convert the requirements into action points, in order to make sure our products are always compliant. You are comfortable and professional in presenting or discussing cases with external authorities.

You will:

• Conducting investigations independently as well as collaboratively regarding product requirements and regulations from different countries. And making sure they are up to date.
• Ensuring and monitoring that a wide range of products are compliant;
• Identifying, collecting, and analyzing product data that enable product compliance or quality-relevant decision-making;
• Communicating with teams from different locations in the world to make sure standard procedures are followed;
• Preparing approaches to implement the regulations within our organization;

You have:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a technical field (Chemistry, Electronics, or other Engineering fields);
• Relevant experience such as in a certification company, or testing lab is a plus;
• Fluency in English and Dutch – both written and verbal;
• Able to analyze, summarize, and interpret technical requirements from standards, directives, or regulations into actionable working steps/processes;
• Good communication skills, be able to participate in discussions with external authorities in writing or in person;
