From our Distribution Centre in Amsterdam, we deliver all sorts of orders to our customers, from crates of soft drinks to cookies, from beer kegs to fresh vegetables. As a Driver, you ensure that the orders are delivered on time. You will fulfil an important role, because thanks to you, our customers can continue to hospitably welcome their guests and serve delicious dishes and matching drinks.

Your workplace is a state-of-the-art brand new electric truck.

As a Driver, with us you can also be driving a 100% electric vehicle. You are the face of Sligro and responsible for delivering orders to our customers on time. Your customer base in Amsterdam is very diverse, ranging from luxury hotels to snack bars, and from Michelin-starred restaurants to local bars. This requires a flexible attitude and a solution and customer-oriented approach. In short, it's a responsible and service-oriented job with a lot of customer interaction.

In summary, your tasks will include:

• Loading your vehicle after checking the cargo;
• Delivering the goods to our customers at the agreed time and receiving return items;
• Performing administrative tasks using a PDA.

In addition, we offer you:

A signing bonus of €1000(!) if you already have a driver's license C, Code 95 and pass your trial period positively!

• A good salary in accordance with the CAO GBV D5 (depending on experience between €2,950 and €3,068 gross per four weeks) and a travel allowance starting from 11 kilometres one way. Allowences and overtime in accordance with CAO GBV;
• An initial contract for 8 months. If we are both satisfied, we will convert it into a permanent contract;
• A full reimbursement of the periodic training for Code 95, inclusion of your Code 95 and your digital driver card;
• At least 24 vacation days plus 3,5 ATV days for a full-time employment;

• You will get a holliday allowance of € 75,- if you work more than 2 hours on a holliday;

If you meet the following requirements, we would love to hear from you:

• You have a C driver's license with code 95 (or you are in the process of obtaining it);
• Preferably, you have some experience in transporting food products;
• You are available full-time or part-time;
• You have a positive work attitude and you are physically capable of performing sometimes heavy duties;
• Sufficient command of Dutch or English.
• A driving skills test may be part of the procedure.
