Accountant Treasury & Banks

Hunkemöller is looking for a Accountant Treasury & Banks for our Finance Department. Join our journey of being a much loved, social & inclusive brand and contribute to our success.

In your day to day you will manage, amongst others, our bank accounts, cash procedures, have contacts with stores, run Collections processes and prepare Cash forecast and Cash reporting.

Formally reporting to the Team Leader B&T but you also have regular informal contact with your other Finance and Control colleagues and other Hunkemöller Departments.

Historically, Hunkemöller had a multiple payment service providers but shifted to 1 party to also integrate the growing Omni-Channel. Steps in professionalization have made but there are still improvements to make in which you can assist!

Your main responsibilities concern the following areas:

• Secure timely, correct and complete bank statement processing
• Processing of outgoing payment to suppliers, customers, employees
• Participate in the Cash Forecasting and operational Cash reporting processes
• Reconciliation of subledgers and execute and maintain internal controls
• Process improvements to make daily duties more efficient

Our ideal candidate:

• Is Fluent or has a minimum of a B2 level of the Dutch language and fluent in English
• Stable personality, being able to fill the role of good and bad cop
• Hands-on person with a ‘can do’ mentality
• At least MEAO education (although on the job experience is just as important)
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage – basic Excel knowledge is required
• At least 2 years of work experience in this field of expertise
