Maintenance Engineer

Your challenge as Maintenance Engineer

Your role is to provide first line technical support to the maintenance team. You take the lead when challenges arise, and are clean and concise when giving your advice. Working together with your colleagues, you realize the optimal solution. Your technical skills allow you to elaborate your choices to the technicians, your peer engineers as well as management.

At the same time you follow the work processes, identifying and implementing improvements along the way. Being the technical specialist within the maintenance group you deliver opportunities to increase reliability and maintainability of plant equipment.

Other tasks consist of:

• Providing input to support new business cases
• Leading projects from idea to installation
• Diagnosing and solving equipment-, process- and system issues on our site
• Following up on the execution of the maintenance plans
• Dealing with many internal as well as external stakeholders (Production, specialist engineers, Turnarounds coordinators, maintenance leads...).

• BSc level - preferably mechanical, industrial engineering.
• 3+ years’ relevant experience within a technical environment.
