Wat neem je mee?

As a Hardware Engineer, you are a key factor in the development process of customer-specific and complex, automotive machines. You translate the sales document and the customer specification into the necessary electrical designs. You are the expert in the field of electrical engineering and ensure the best solutions. You advise the project leader and work closely with other colleagues from Mechanical Engineering and PLC Control Engineering within the Business Unit Automotive. In addition:

• You specify the materials, components, and wiring plans for purchasing purposes;
• Provide the necessary schematics and project documentation for the production;
• Responsible for the engineering of pneumatic and cooling systems;
• You monitor the progress of the projects and you coordinate in a timely manner;
• You will function as a contact person in case of deviations and you will suggest improvements.

8:00After a cup of coffee and discussing the weekend, you get back to work! You have the freedom to execute your work and will start with your own planning. You will discuss the priorities for this week with your colleagues or with the team leader.10:00You are involved during the assembly phase and you will answer any project questions or resolve issues.13:00You have a project startup with the team. You check if all requirements are comply with the project specifications and proceed with the translation to the hardware design.15:00Your colleagues are stuck in a project and ask for your expertise. You are naturally acting as an advisor and are already looking forward to fix this challenge together!16:45Time flies! You are going to finalize the day and lock your laptop. With a satisfied feeling you go back home.
